Arkansas Pathology Associates P.A. (APA) is an independent group of 10 pathologists in Little Rock. Our laboratory has provided a broad range of pathology services since the mid-1920s and currently serves 21 hospitals, as well as many physicians' offices throughout Arkansas. We utilize APA Specimen Tracking, which is an internal smartphone app built specifically for our labs. It combines a powerful, web-based administrative system with a field-based data collection system to track individual specimens from the hospital or physician's office to the pathology laboratory. This ensures accountability, efficiency, and competitiveness of the laboratory management system through the ability to quickly track specimens in real time.

About Us

APA focuses on bringing the newest, most innovative testing services to our clients and patients. We consider our prompt and accurate handling of Pap tests and surgical specimens one of the foundations of our practice. Since we are a locally owned and operated pathology laboratory, if you have any questions or concerns regarding any specimen or service, you may call to speak with a lab employee or pathologist with access to patient and specimen information immediately.

Additionally, our billing and insurance staff is experienced in working with your patients' insurance companies. Our specialized coding representatives have long-standing relationships with third-party payers. This allows us to bill your patients' insurance companies directly, saving you time and valuable resources. Our laboratory accepts Medicare and Medicaid assignment and participates in all insurance plans and networks.
