I have been a patient of Dr. Peter Kemp for Eighteen years. He has delivered Two of my children, been in charge of all my prenatal and gynecological check ups, and most recently performed a total Hysterectomy, and removal of one ovary.
The medical care I have received over the years has been top notch. But more importantly (to me anyway), his professionalism and genuine concern for me as a patient has been exemplary. He listens, he is thorough and he never makes you feel like he's in a rush to get to the next patient. He is firm when he needs to be, without being arrogant. Comforting when the news isn't so great.
In a time where it has become increasingly difficult to find Doctors that don't have one hand on the door knob while they're speaking to you, Dr. Peter Kemp is a rarity. I highly recommend him.
I have been a patient since my first OBGY appointment. I am 39 and having my first child, I drive from fort myers to see him and it is worth the drive and time in order to get the impeccable treatment he gives. He misses nothing and without his attention to detail I could have had many complications. There are several potential risks I have( that he found early and from family history) and he is keeping watch on everything. I am so thankful for him.
Dr. Champion was very patient and helpful with all of the questions that I had. From the beginning she offered me all kinds of options allowing me to choose the right one for me. The process of scheduling surgery was very quick and I was able to do it within a month which really helped otherwise I probably would have cancelled if I had to wait a really long time. Each visit she was very positive and helpful and did an amazing job on my DaVinci hysterectomy surgery as well. She was very confident about the process and utilizing the DaVinci robotics which I'm sure aided in my quick recovery. Side notes: She is also the doctor that delivered my daughter's premature baby (who is doing just fine now!). Also: for appointments, I would highly recommend the Riverview location vice the Brandon office just because it is less crowded and you are more likely to get in/out of the office quicker.
Dr. Smiley is an oncological GYN. She did a radical hysterectomy on me in the autumn of 2012, removing a tumor the approximate size of a cantaloupe out of my abdomen.
In addition to having endometrial cancer, I also have diabetes, high blood pressure -- and am a high functioning autistic. This latter can sometimes cause more problems than all the rest of my problems combined -- especially when my brain circuits get overloaded and I begin to have trouble communicating. This is an even bigger problem because I am actually a very intelligent person with an above average ability to communicate IN WRITING, but in person, I often look like I'm retarded.
Dr. Smiley and her nurse both handle the special problems that my autism present with both professionalism and compassion.
I am overwhelmed easily in a busy environment, so she arranges it so that I can be her last appointment of the day, when she has a little more time to go slowly and quietly with me.
One time when I w... [More..]

Dr. Miranda is an awesome Dr. He listens to his patients and is very understanding. I have had years of problems with cervical issues and painful monthly issues. I had finally got to the point that things were very frustrating for me. We discussed all the options available and all the risks associated with them. Surgery was the best choice for me. Once the choice was made Dr. Miranda went over the surgery procedure and made sure I was fully informed of what was going to happen. After the surgery Dr. Miranda kept me informed of all the steps of recovery. He is very to the point, and is very willing to answer any and all Questions. I recommend Dr. Miranda as he is very understanding, thorough, knowledgeable, and listens to his patients.
Hi. I have Von Willebrands Type 1 and have suffered with heavy periods for many years. Dr. Segal was very cautious in regard to recommending hysterectomy and recommended as well as worked with a Hematologist to ensure I was given the best care possible with regard to my hysterectomy. He tried to get me to choose other options because he didn't want to put me through any undue risk but I felt that I could go through many more years of heavy bleeding and that the surgery was my best option. He did as I asked and was an angel! He was pleased with the surgery and followed up with a personal call even after I returned home. Couldn't ask for anything more! He's easy to talk to and personable. He's knowlegable and gave me lots of information to take home as well so that I was as well as informed before I made any decisions. A patient's dream!
Dr. Bicher is an oncologist pelvic surgical specialist. Although I did not have cancer, I had stage 4 endometriosis and a history of distorted organs needing organ reconstruction from the severe endo. Each time I met with Dr. Bicher, her calm demeanor put my mid at ease and I immediately knew I could trust her. My case was severe and she got me in for surgery within weeks of my initial visit - no waiting! She came to talk to me before the surgery and reassured me. Her staff was professional and had a great bed-side manner. Once I woke up in recovery I could already tell a difference in how I felt. I felt "normal" again. Normal recovery pain, but that's all. She did a LAVH, total hyst with BSO and worked on my intestines which were glued together from the endo, and got the ovaries out which were also glued to the pelvic wall due to the endo. Pathology report showed a slew of other issues: adenomyosis and Polycystic Ovarian syndrome. I made the right decision with this doctor, and she ... [More..]

Is this Review about Annette BICHER helpful to you?
I suffered from several pain from endometriosis for 20 years. Every time I complained of my pain to a gynecologist (& I complained to quite a few in those 20 years), I was offered some useless advice about vitamin supplements or an exercise regime. At best, I was placed on birth control pills. All of it amounted to putting a bandaid on a bullet wound, until someone suggested Karen to me. She looked at the images of my laparoscopy which had been performed by another doctor, gave me a pelvic exam, and didn't waste my time with useless advice or pharmaceutical options. "You poor thing," I'll never forget her words, "You must be in TERRIBLE pain." She then told me exactly what I had been thinking, insisting was the case, for years: "You'll never conceive a child in that uterus. Why keep an organ that doen't work & causes you so much pain?" And we scheduled a hysterectomy without further delay. So as to spare me from years of hormone replacement therapy (I was 34 at the time) she saved one ... [More..]
The office and all staff members were extremely nice and professional. The office and exam rooms were very clean and warm. The Dr. was very gentle and reassuring. I would recommend him to everyone having issues. Linda Olson

Dr Gott is a very smart man in his field. He is thorough, kind, and gentle. He has not been my doctor, but I know from his kind and caring manner he would be a first choice should I need pain management.
Dr. Michelson did my hysterectomy in late May. I felt that his bedside manner was the best. He takes as much time as needed to make sure that his patients fully understand the procedure at hand and answers any and questions. I would recommend Dr. Jeffrey Michelson to anyone who needs an obstetrician or gynecologic care.
I had been seeing an ob/gyn doctor for 3 years and had been suffering with fibroids + ovarian cysts. Her solution was to allow the cysts to burst on their own, thinking they would "clear up" eventually. During this time, I approached her about a hysterectomy oophorectomy and she refused. After 2 visits to the ER for bleeding with severe pain and numerous calls to her office, I gave up. I called Dr. May and pleaded my case to the receptionist. She took my number and when she called back she had an appt for me that week. Dr. May did a very thorough, 2 hour long initial consult with me and I was amazed. He was caring, compassionate, patient and he listened. He didn't tell me to just "deal with the symptoms" He scheduled tests for me that day (sonogram, blood work & on site). He found 10 ovarian cysts ranging in size from 3mm to 11mm as well as uterine fibroids. Later that month he did my Oophorectomy with a total hysterectomy. Dr, May has given me my life back! He belongs to a ... [More..]
Dr. Windom is the most caring and competent doctor I have ever had. I had a complete hysterectomy with several other issues and he did a fantastic job. In addition my surgery was scheduled for 2pm and he was ready early. His bedside manor is awesome as well as communicating all the information to me and my family. I highly recommend him for surgery or as a primary obgyn.
This is the best dentist office I've ever been to. Everyone here is so great. They have a tv in every room so you can watch tv while you get your teeth worked on.
