I was referred to Dr. Murphy when I had some post-menopausal bleeding that required being seen by a GYN. Dr. Murphy was been absolutely wonderful! He is cheerful, warm and comforting. His bedside manner calms and reassures, and he takes as much time with you as needed to answer your questions. I had a D & C that came back with a path report of possible uterine cancer, and Dr. Murphy did a hysterectomy a couple of weeks ago. He made a difficult diagnosis, and difficult surgery much less scary by treating me as an intelligent person, not just another procedure. Dr Murphy recently moved from Grand Rapids, MI to Ludington, and he's a wonderful addition to our physician network. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an OB/GYN!
