After being diagnosed with probable ovarian cancer during an emergency visit to the ER for high fever I was referred to Dr. Nycum by the attending OB/GYN at our local hospital. From the moment this doctor walked into the room I felt completely at ease. His bedside manner is fantastic, yet completely professional. After his examination he was very patient explaining all our options to my husband and myself - answered our questions and calmed our fears. He performed a TAH the next week (one week ago TODAY!) and the surgery was a complete success. He was there in recovery when I woke up with a big grin and a great report. I would absolutely recommend him to whomever may have need of his type of service. I have never been to a doctor that I felt this comfortable with from the moment I stepped into his office until I left. From the smiling receptionists to his wonderful Nurse Practioner the whole experience has been very positive.

Dr. Nycum handles specialty gyn cases. He did a hysterectomy. His nurses and staff are outstanding. His practice is adjacent to Forsyth Hospital. He is pleasant. He or his staff answer questions promptly.
